Background
Design Solutions started as an independent kitchen and bath design firm in 2004 with a primary focus on design and layout for kitchen, baths or other rooms. We have been expanding and growing ever since.

Owner and Designer Sandy James received her Interior Design degree from Endicott college in 1989, and has been designing and working with homeowners since then. In 1996, Sandy received her Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) certification from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Design Solutions is an active member of NKBA and Assabet Valley Chamber of Commerce. Sandy also served as VP of Professional Development for Northern New England chapter of NKBA. Design Solutions work has been published in trade journals—Kitchen and Bath Business and New England Home.

In addition to working with individual homeowners, Design Solutions works closely with Builders, Developers and Architects. We have worked on large scale projects, designing and providing consultation. Since 2004, Design Solutions has been designing, detailing and providing all plans for large residential developments. For one development alone, we have designed the kitchens and other spaces for over 70 homes (and counting).
